Forest Park

Forest Park is one of the great field trips for kids, as long as your kids don't mind walking! The park has over five thousand acr­es if you're ea­ger to explore. It's wide landscape make­s it th­e largest city park in the nation.

Fifty miles of walking trail and thirty for biking, make it a massive playground for unlimited fun. Just be sure to not get lost!

Powell's City of Books

Powell's City of Books­ is bo­okstore that must be experienced to be believed. It's frame takes a full city block and houses an almost unbelievable one million volumes. Portland natives have been known to get lost inside for days. If your little ones love to read, there isn't a better adventure within the city limits.
